I'm out of my depth here, but the only player I can find who played for the Miami Dolphins and whose name sounds anything like a British Railway station is Joey Harrington.

The Miami Dolphin player is presumably Dan Marino, especially as his number was 13. I checked his full name in case Dan was short for Danby, but it's short for Daniel. There is a station in Japan called Dan but that doesn't count. I'm stymied on this one as well.
