Aigburth, indeed. (Some unsophisticated types -- especially on the Celtic fringe -- talk about "aigs", for eggs. Unscientific: "b[u/i]rth" could kind-of mean act of bird laying egg, or chick pecking way through shell; but the biologists wouldn't put it that way.)
