Maybe the "lass" needs some "dough" after coming from Belfast (where the "belle" had to "fast").
Still can't fit the "west" in to it any way.

I'll guess Whitland - it's on the line from Pembroke Dock, which has a station as does Rosslare at the other end of the ferry. Also it's near the junction for Fishguard/Milford Haven. And as an anagram it contains the word "thin". But that's as near as I can get - do we have to know Gaelic to solve this??

Clarbeston Road can't be an anagram of Clare isn't broad, as there is no letter "i" in Clarbeston Road.

My sentiments also. There was a bit of discussion on this game, in early Nov. 2016: where there was some consensus to the effect of "indirect anagrams (where you first have to find the words to be anagrammed)" [@D6130, as with your "Clarbeston Road" job {irrespective of matching-up or not -- did you perhaps mean Clare's not broad, which I think does fit letters-wise?}] "being not generally considered to make for sound clues". I'm very much in agreement with that -- I find such doings just baffling and frustrating and for me, not fun. Though to my knowledge, none of us participating right now, have any authority over what should or shouldn't happen in this game -- democracy holds sway -- am just putting in my two-penny-worth.
