Not sure if this is allowed but thought it maybe easier to track this than in the huge main thread.
As far as I know this is the state of play:
1) planning approval granted by Cardiff council at least a 2 years ago now
2) new planning application in for flats next to it, which includes an entrance. However I'm not convinced this has much to do with the actual station development itself?
3) latest I know is it is meant to be completed in 2025/2026.
I did some digging and it seems that Amey submitted a correction to the previous planning in June https://www.cardiffidoxcloud.wales/...s.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=SXNDVQECMI400 to do with some typo on the lift shafts. It seems Cardiff council didn't write exactly which drawings were approved, so a formal correction process has had to start.
As such I can't see construction work starting this year. Still needs detailed lift, lighting and fencing designs submitted to Cardiff council which hasn't been done yet (I suspect maybe this correction is a sign it won't be too long) and I think they will take the rest of the year?
