Crush loading, less than platform lengths

The problem is that unless platform entry/exit locations are intelligently positioned along the trains' lengths, passengers will pack into the coach nearest the stairs, complaining that the train is overcrowded whilst the other end of the train carries mostly air.

In some locations, at some times of day, and only with some people.
That isn't an excuse for not adding coaches to a train.

Said it before, - no where should be operating with just one coach these days.
It seems all 2-coach trains should be 3-coaches. 3 coach trains could do with a 4th...

Platform lengths is one problem, yet when something is finally agreed, it's only a matter of weeks for extensions to happen.
