Just got the traffic manager job for latest round of recruitment for crossrail based at romford, anyone got an idea of the likely shift patterns, I know it's obviously 24 hour pattern but wondering if anyone has an idea of shifts lengths, number of days of etc, thanks for anyone's input

shift length dictates how many days you get off. All of TFL is pretty much similar in that you will average about 36 hours a week.
The advert should have said if you'd be on a mix of shifts, and likely hours. LU was 7 hour days 5 days a week for my position.
One of our department that moved elsewhere in TFL was doing 12 hours 3 days on, 4 off, then a different shift the next week.

Thanks for the info, advert didn't really give any indication of shifts, I guess we'll just have to wait and see! Not overly fussed as I've done shifts for the last 12 years but it would just be nice to have some idea!
