Crossings

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm planning on taking a walk this weekend through an area I haven't been before.
I scoped out the walk with Google Maps and came across this rail crossing. It protects the mainline Swansea London line so Is quite busy.
I can see there's a notice which will probably explain the rules to crossing safely. Or maybe it says it's forbidden, I don't know since I've never been there. Don't really want to travel there only to find out I can't cross.
Any pointers?

This appears to be a 'User Worked Crossing' with a pedestrian crossing alongside it on the right of the vehicle gates. If you are on a public footpath then you may use the foot crossing - the vehicular section is limited to those authorised to use it. So I don't think you have anything to worry about - if I've interpreted the picture correctly!

It seem to have crossing lights which is unusual for user worked crossing.

There is a 10 m abacus raise and lower column on the left with two fittings on by the looks of things looking at the picture and what looks like an electric supply point on the righthand side of the crossing.

Someone who knows the location may be able to tell us more as there seems to be other lighting columns in the background too.

Find the location on a decent map. If the crossing is a public right of way over the railway lines you will be OK.

As others have said, you are free to use the crossing if it is on a public footpath but it goes without saying, Stop, Look, Listen before crossing the line.

Some UWC's do have red/green lights (this isn't always unusual) but I can't see in this picture
