CrossCountry Weekend Upgrade price list(?)

Hello ,

Recently I have noticed on the gWr website they offer weekend first class upgrades, and give a rough price guide (based on the number of zones you pass through).

I am travelling on CrossCountry in a few Saturdays time, and see also they offer weekend upgrades, however, do not offer a price guide.
Is there one available somewhere that I'm missing? Can anyone on here offer an insight into how much an upgrade would be for a roughly 40 minute journey time?

Where is BTM? If you mean Bristol Temple Meads (BRI) to Cheltenham Spa (CTM) (CNM) then it will be £5.

Hoist by my own petard! Copy-paste ain't what it used to be! In my own (vain attempt at defence) at least my typo exists.

I no longer use the 3 letter station codes and use my own ones as they make more sense. I use BTM for Temple Meads and CTM for Cheltenham. If you can understand them then they are ok in my opinion.

Except, of course, when your code happens to be the same as the real code for another station like above, I mistyped CTM which happens to be Chatham.

Recipe for confusion if you ask me, either use the assigned code or none at all.

Somewhat presumptuous.
If you want to use codes then put what they mean in full first.
Also remember that there are railway workers on here who do not use any of these codes in their working life.

Surprised it isn't BTM, though! Back when I was in my train enthusiasm prime a couple years ago, I didn't even know they existed! Now I've returned to the hobby, well, it'll take me a while

No worries just try you best (and you can use National Rail Enquires to check) and if you make a mistake helpful souls like najaB will always been on hand to point out the egregious errors of your ways

Generally for the principal station in a particular town or city the code follows the name of the town rather than the name of the station - BRI for Bristol (Temple Meads), MAN for Manchester (Piccadilly), LIV for Liverpool (Lime St), BHM for Birmingham (New Street), etc.

London is the exception, as there isn't a single station that would be considered the "main" one.
