Application states that you must complete your safety of the line form on submitting your application by printing it off, completing it then emailing it back. My question is can you use edit document on laptop to fill in. Feel the printing off is out dated as such as you now have PDF files allowing you to edit and save documents. Or is there a reason why they ask you to print??&

Anyone got an email address for the recruitment team at XC? Could you please either DM me or reply to this.

Thanks

I recently applied for this job for Derby depot. I just want to ask if anyone know more about the depot. (Shift pattern, links, latest finish and so on) I will actually be taking a pay CUT about 11k initially. Then about 5k pay cut after signing route and traction then full pay after 1 year. I usually do 2 to 3 rdw a month at the moment at my current TOC. Is there much RDW available at this depot? I know we should not rely on rdw but goes into my holiday pot and also additional pension contribution. Finally, is Sunday in or outside at Crosscountry? My Sunday is currently outside of my basic pay.

Thanks.

I can’t answer your specifics re Derby but normally at XC there is WRD although some depots are doing more than others due to the dispute!

Sundays are outside the working week currently!
I am not sure if Derby has week of rest days every 5 weeks or the “traditional” 4 day week roster

Does anyone know if the safety of line transfer form needs to be signed by a manager at this stage?

I'd rather them not know I'm looking elsewhere. Thanks.

I asked the question and was told they’d only chase it up once a job offer had been made.

Has anyone had contact from XC recruitment to confirm receipt of their B1 form or any other information about when they anticipate vacancies to open up?

The job I applied for closed early December. Not heard anything other than they had recieved my application. And it’s still showing “application in progress” on the portal.

Good morning all,

Just wondered whether there’s any cross country drivers on here who could give an insight to what life is like at Leeds depot? Roster, management, general day to day life there.

Also whether anyone has been through the process of moving as a qualified driver to cross country and what that entails?

I applied for the position that was advertised early December. My application was showing in progress the last time I checked on the portal nit not heard anything from them in ages.

What stage are you at?

Just applied. It reopened about 2 weeks ago and closed last weekend. It did say on it that those who applied in December didn’t have to apply again as this was an addition to it

Oh wow I must have missed that. I think I will probably withdraw mine though as I have been offered a position elsewhere
