CrossCountry NCL-GLD 22/10/11

Anyone have a clue why the 17:32 XC NCL-GLD seems to be (according to journey planner) curtailed at BHM this coming saturday 22/10? There's no engineering works or timetable alterations posted that would explain why it won't run through to Guildford. (Perhaps it will - heaven forbid that journey planner could be wrong...)

(Was hoping to pick it up at RDG).

Please, for the benefit of those less well versed in railway acronyms, could you include the full names at least once in an opening post.

XC - CrossCountry Trains
NCL - Newcastle
GLD - Guildford
BHM - Birmingham New Street
RDG - Reading

Although there are no obvious engineering works on Sat that should affect it, there is a block south of Leamington shortly after the time it normally runs through, and on Sunday until 1600. If they don't want the normal number of units stranded south of Oxford all day Sunday they may have stopped the service at New St - this has happened before I believe...

Not really a ticketing issue, perhaps a mod could move to the general forum?
