Hi all, after some help - does anyone have the Arriva XC recruitment email handy? The only one I have is an unmonitored account. Was wondering about the 6 month rule following the rejection. Is it 6 months from receiving the knock back or 6 months from when we sat the assessments?

There is no scenario where a recruitment team are checking potentially thousands of peoples NI numbers against the database on the off chance they've got psychometrics!
They may check if they're inviting you to interview and you've passed the online assessments but they aren't wasting the hours on every applicant.

Can anyone remember the last time any positions in Manchester come up. With all the cancellations today I’m hoping soon
I never said they would be checking thousands, but they most certainly will be checking the people that have passed the sifts for their NI numbers before paying for them to do OPC testing. Because some may have failed them in the last 6 months or even failed their maximum attempts. Hence why they ask you for it...

What is sift? The OPC assessment?
The recruitment team will "sift" through applications using different methods and different tests narrowing the number of people down

That will never change. I'd be looking at the arriva job candidate site for any status changes

Hi all, does anyone know if “under review” is a progression from “pending” via the Arriva website? Seems to be unclear. Thanks!

It’s the other way around I believe. Pending is the later stage.

I’m still pending for Newcastle application. But understand some have had rejection emails. Anyone been progressed further?
I just got a rejection email too. I can’t lie I’m super disappointed. I actually thought I did quite well on the tests. I’ve never had any issues with tests for other jobs so the general level of applicants must have been really high.

At least says in one of them didn't fail them, just others scored higher what is fair. Either way some hope it seems with the one email for potential.

Nothing for Birmingham this end yet. The wait is killing me - if its a rejection, I'd rather know now than months down the line. Hoping it wont be a rejection though

The one thing im holding on to is that some people already got rejections. Surely they'd reject people before accepting?
And hearing nothing is a good thing. Fingers crossed

I have applied to Leeds but mine still says “Under Review” and I haven’t heard anything either way.
