Well unsuccessful for Edinburgh, that'll be that then. Pretty much already do an extremely comparable job to a train driver aswell

Did you get an email telling you that you were unsuccessful? Sorry to hear that also.

That's brutal man. Did you get a generic email like the others? It seems they are doing the north of the country before moving down.

Yep generic email , Did not meet required standard on Shl test and application won't be taken any further just shows you that even having already passed most of the pycometrics it's no advantage whatsoever if you can't flip a couple of shapes

Sorry to hear that, if it’s any consolation, I am kind of expecting the same, but I am still awaiting to find out either way.

For anyone that has moved to "pending" on their application status, did you get any sort of email notifying you of progression? It seems that pending is the next step after passing the SHL testing benchmark.

Sorry to hear that mate, hopefully be other opportunities in the future.

Other Edinburgh applicants - my status is still 'under review'.

You'll likely be seeing this remark for several months
Do you get a positive or negative reply after several months lol

Gutted for you pal, Did your status change on the XC site from under review?

This would be nice if it's true; it would make sense because why change people's status to "pending" and not send them an email stating they've been unsuccessful at the same time? No news is good news. The whole SHL assessment is a crazy way to filter down candidates, but I think the questionnaire was the most important part. I'm assuming an interview would be the next stage

Mines just changed to "you have no applications" for Edinburgh. Received no email either way. Thought the test was tough but I usually do ok. Heart wasn't set on it and more of a speculative application but just an FYI out there that that's what's happened to mine.

EDIT: Never mind, its back to under review.

At least everyone here can see the status haha, my portal has always said no applications, even before I did the tests

My application for Birmingham New St still shows as ‘under review’. I’ve had no email but think I bombed the Situational test. Though as everybody seems to say about TOCs, no news is often good news!

It seems they are putting people's applications into pending one depot at a time. Edinburgh seemed to be first and I've seen a few Leeds so I assume we at new street will be somewhat soon
