A confirmation of your withdrawal sound more like you've manual clicked withdraw on the website.

Obviously I don't know that for sure, just what's happened when I've withdrawn from jobs before, and when I've not passed they'd usually say not met the required standard.

Again, could be totally wrong with this.

I agree. I thought when did I withdraw it but I absolutely didn’t. Did the two tests Wednesday night and that was the last interaction I had with the system

Maybe you returned them too late? Closing date was Wednesday 26th so maybe they didn’t receive them until Thursday so classes it as you missing the deadline.
Maybe but the deadline did say Wednesday 11:59pm. So bit bad if they did that to him

Not sure how it is for the 2025 applicants, but for those who applied in 2023, you then had an interview and only went to OPC if you were successful in the interview. Interviews were held in March and OPC in April.
That’s they way it was for me too when I applied but they’ve changed the order of things now.

Im just guessing. See if anyone else has had anything come through. It’s unusual wording for not passing though.

On the email sent out this year it does say.

SHL test
OPC
Interview

In that order so must’ve changed it around

Does anyone know roughly how many applications these type of places get. Like arriva and cross country. Surely can’t be in thousands can it?

I had the same withdrawal email, completed the tests a few days in advance so don't believe it to be a deadline issue. It is worded quite unusually for a rejection email, more like I had not responded to a new deadline or that I had withdrew from the application process myself. In fact at first I thought I'd missed an email somewhere along the line, but I don't believe I have.

My application in June was over 5,500k just for that one campaign. They told me that on the phone

Possible. I did find it weird saying withdrawn as opposed to unsuccessful

Is this for the 26/27 recruiting campaign? Seems far too soon for HR to already be working on this when they still have folk from 23/24 waiting around.

still part of the initial sift at the moment, probably quite a simple pass criteria for both tests to whittle the numbers down a bit before the testing proper starts

But do you think they would be onto to the sift that quickly ? Would expect it to take them a little while to get through all the numbers ?

I'd hazard a guess it's automated at this point

My status has changed from "Under Review" too "Pending" anyone got this?

Mine still says under review at the moment. I don’t know if that’s good news or bad news though

Was your SHL online tests to be completed by the 26th? I completed mine last Thursday.

I did my tests last Sunday, assuming plenty of people applied for the Newcastle Job, but I checked before dinner and it said Under Review and it's only just checked, hopefully a positive sign for people to look out for.

Mine is still under review. I assume its their automated system sifting through results
I'm guessing so, it'll be interesting to see if anyone who got the unsuccessful email what there's states on the site
