CrossCountry £10 fee removal

Has any clarity been provided yet on whether the removal of the £10 change of advance ticket fee being removed by CrossCountry means,

a) no fee on any advance ticket sold/changed by CrossCountry
or
b) no fee on only CrossCountry advance tickets sold/changed by CrossCountry
or
c) no fee on CrossCountry advance tickets sold/changed by any retailer

Removal of £10 administration charge if you need to change the dates or times of travel of Advance tickets bought online with us

How I interpret this is does the intention of the removal of the fee only applies to tickets that have been purchased on Crosscountry's own website?

Why would XC need approval to change their own admin fee from other TOCs?

The £10 fee, however described, is not an admin fee, it is a fee to discourage speculative purchase of Advance fares when one knows that one will travel but not at what time.

Funny thing - easyJet have recently changed their change fee policy - it's now reduced to £15 if changed more than 60 days in advance, which will encourage more early booking and thus mean more customers will effectively lend them money!

They have, sadly, started charging for the previously free "get on the earlier flight on the day" thing, now £20, but slightly improved in that you can do it in advance (but still on the day) via the app.
