Cross Gates to Saltaire - return via Bradford

Hello,
Is it permitted to break a journey on the return portion of a Cross Gates to Saltaire Day Return at Bradford and Leeds?

If so, is it likely to encounter hassle, travelling tomorrow?
If not possible, is there a ticket that would allow it.

Will be 2 adults travelling with a two together railcard,
