Can anyone tell me what cross country are like to work for? Routes, roster, who their pension is with etc. This is for a job in Edinburgh. Also any inside info on how secure the job is in Scotland with XC as keep hearing rumours they could be pulling out.

Cheers

I also am interested in this one!

Be a bit silly them advertising for drivers if they are “pulling out”

They still have a commitment to run the franchise.
Also rumours of no Aberdeen commitment in next franchise.

The Aberdeen things been spoken about before. As for job security i cant see there being an issue just the usual new franchise new uniform. The rumour i have heard is Avanti moving from Edinburgh to Glasgow.

Rumours from who? Edinburgh is the second biggest depot for XC with very little booked work for other depots that far. Routes are Glasgow Central via Carstairs and Shotts, Aberdeen, Leeds, Craigentinny depot and the Edinburgh Suburban line.
Traction is Voyager and HST. Pension is with The XC part of the RPS.
