Hi can anyone please help. I booked online with CrossCountry for a ticket tomorrow - Weds 11th August 2021 - from Peterborough to Stansted.

However, I got two things wrong:
1. Didn't get my senior railcard discount. Because I couldn't see a place to opt for that - probably me being stupid.
2. Booked the wrong train. I booked the 10:12am but wanted the 09:19

I paid £10.20 for the ticket.

They are showing at £24.10 for the earlier train.

If I try to amend online will it work? What I want to do is to buy the £24.10 with my railcard discount. And get the £10.20 deducted.

Thanks for any help

Might be a good idea to contact the support team of whichever online retailer you actually booked your ticket with (if different from the train operating company you are travelling with). Hopefully, they'll be able to assist.

CrossCountry let passengers change their tickets with no fee. See their website here for more details. I'm not sure, however, that will let you apply your railcard discount to the new tickets.

No, if the original tickets are not Railcard discounted then any replacements won't be either.

In which case you should try contacting their web support team or whatever it is called, as Mcr Warrior suggests. I have had this work with LNER or its immediate predecessor.
