Yeah the turbostars work Cardiff - Nottingham and Birmingham NS - Stansted Airport. Does that help...

the Nottingham runs have 2 stopping patterns. The Cardiff ones I tend to call express and Birmingham ones are semi-fast really.

Nottingham-Cardiff usually call at: Nottingham, Derby, Burton, Tamworth, Birmingham NS, University, Cheltenham (or Ashchurch), Gloucester, Newport & Cardiff.

Nottingham-Birmingham NS can sometimes call at: Nottingham, Beeston, Attenborough, Long Eaton, Spondon, Derby, Willington, Burton, Tamworth, Wilnecote, Water Orton, Birmingham NS. Though most miss out Attenborough, Spondon and Water Orton.

A few things i would like to know about cross country are:-

1-Who done the mesure ments for the new bike areas on the Voyagers as i only just about got mine in the other day.

2-I was awating the 17.10 AXC Service from Nottingham to Derby and when it pulled into the platform it was formed of six carriges 2x 3car 170s and the front unit had been locked out of use making the rear ubit loaded to the brim.

So on that note what i would like to know why it would have been locked out of use as it had clearly been used on its inward journey.

Also why is it that AXC have only done modifications to the Voyagers and not a compleate refresh which they apear to be in need of which iam not very impresed by the modifications as they have moved the seats closer together to get more seats in making the table seats tighter fir the larger person but still voygers do provide an exerlent ride.

They are still fairly modern units which obviously don't need a "complete" refresh
