As a result of engineering between Totnes and Plymouth, Cross Country are diverting all services to Paignton outside of peak times, inclusive of their HST services. I had the morning off school so popped out to see 43301 and 43303 in pleasant lighting.

Photos: http://southwest-railways.50webs.com/190109.htm

Theres also been some minor changes to the website meaning pages which have been updated are CSS Valid, most notable is the grey background, although very little else has changed.

Any comments?
Cheers

Nice photos there Liam, some different angles I've yet to have the pleasure of getting at Paignton.

Just curious, do all these services with AXC call at Torquay, or do some of them pass through non-stop?

Cheers guys. Its only 30mph through Torquay so going non stop wouldn't be a benefit. The service I saw were all empty.

2 week closure, although single line working is in operaton so most FGW services are still operating, just retimed.

Indeed, weekdays there are FGW services still serving Plymouth using crossovers at Aish and back the other side. That only affects Down trains though.

They don't, quite simply. All AXC stuff diverted to Paignton weekdays and most terminating (if not all) at Exeter St. Davids on weekends. Fast buses run to/from Tiverton Parkway to Plymouth (buses also run from Exeter St. Davids to Newton Abbot, Totnes and other intermediate shacks) where FGW run connecting services.

The only XC services running through on Weekdays are the 3 to Penzance AFAIK, although there may be a few more, the three to/from Penzance do run through.

They do, as Conner said after you

And when I looked today Conner, there was only one going to Penzance - 14:10 off Leeds
