Cromford station restored

Cromford station,the only original station within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site, has been officially opened following a £300,000 restoration project. Pictures from the opening day are here:

From December Cromford and Whatstandwell will have an hourly service, rather than some trains skipping them for no apparent reason. So some common sense has returned!
