What's happened in Crewe tonight all I know is that services are running delayed or being cancelled/diverted due to an operating incident
Down to an earth fault on 68010 apparently !
Saying there is an "operating incident" tells nothing. I seem to recall British rail were criticised for using the term 30 years ago. Plus Ca Change.

Which working was that?
Drivers (I'm not saying for right or wrong) were also refusing to follow directions from the signallers to move regardless of the emergency broadcast compounding the issue. Sounded like a right farce.
Sounds to me that they are frightened of disciplinary action?
