Crewe-Kidsgrove Operational incident 30.12.17

Apparently Crewe-Kidsgrove is blocked with 2N44 19.02 ex Crewe involved with an operational incident?

Does anyone have any idea with what happened? My knowledge tells me that there is a UWC somewhere in the area.....

Nothing to do with user worked crossings. TPWS activation of some description.

You must be well informed. 2N44 seems to be getting held now at KDG. Is it being terminated>

Cancelled at Kidsgrove now. Don't know anything beyond that.

Do you know what is happening with 1K26 up the back of it?

OK, 5N44 has proceeded forward from KDG so I assume 1K26 will get anyone down to SOT for onward connections

1K26 will run through to Derby about 50 minutes late.

TPWS activation. Currently reported as a system fault. The OTMR download should reveal what speed the unit was actually travelling at the time. This may (or may not) concur with the report given by the driver.
