Ever fancied becoming a volunteer?
Well here is your chance!

This is our first Model and Miniature event of the year. On display will be various different model railways of different gauges and era's. Also we will have a selection of locomotives running on our miniature railways.

In addition to all this, the centres usual attractions will be running.

We still have space for more Model Railways and Miniature Locomotives for this event! If you are interested in exhibiting something please contact us at info@crewehc.co.uk.

By Attending this event you are helping restore one of our resident class 47s, 47192 to working order; so why not come along?

The Crewe Heritage Centre is proud to announce its 2014 DRS weekend in conjunction with Direct Rail Services.

The Centre will host up to 4 DRS locomotives on display (Subject to availability), Plus our own Diesel fleet working on brakevan rides.

Also a sneak preview of the DB Schenker Nameplates which are up for sale in April's Railwayana Auction.

The Centre's own attractions will also be running including:

*APT-P Tilting Demos
*Miniature Railway
*Model Railways
*Signal Boxes Operating

Cafe & Gift shop open all day, all locomotives subject to availability. Please Check our Website for more info.

The Heritage Centre plays host to a selection of vintage buses on display and will include trips around the local area.

All other Crewe Heritage attractions will be open.

Driver Experience Day
12th April
Ever wanted to live that childhood dream, of becoming a train driver? Well now you can, join us for a day of fun and excitement. No pre-booking is required. Package includes; 03073, 73006 and Miniature Railway locomotives. At a incredibly low cost of £35.00.

Stuck on something to do this weekend? Were open for 4 Days so why not bring the kids down to the Crewe Heritage Centre? We have a weekend of fun and excitement for all the family, from Easter Egg hunts to Driver Experience. There is something for everyone so come along and treat the kids to a day of excitement.

Also on offer for the over 18's will be driver experience on our full size trains, and for the kids Miniature Railway driver experience.

37603 will also be on static display over the weekend.

Open times 10am to 16:30pm both days

Crewe ‘Rail Ale’ Festival
The Crewe ‘Rail Ale’ Festival is a fantastic event for all Ale and Cider lovers,
located in our fantastic Exhibition Hall and run in partnership with the South Cheshire branch of C.A.M.R.A. (Campaign for Real Ale). The First festival took place at the Crewe Heritage Centre in 2013 and was a huge hit with the local community.

What Else Is Included?
Entry to the Crewe ‘Rail Ale’ Festival includes access to the Crewe Heritage Centre, including
standard gauge Locomotives in steam. And the fabulous Advanced Passenger Train, that is located
opposite our Exhibition Hall. The Crewe Heritage Centre will also be offering rides on our 600 yard
