I'm looking for those elusive LM only advance tickets for Crewe - Euston on any Saturday anytime in the future. Probably in January. I've got a 16-25 railcard and I've found one of the advance singles for £5.30 on the return journey - I'm guessing this is the cheapest they get?

For the out part of the journey, I can only find the £7.90 virgin fares (which aren't exactly bank breaking) but please could anyone point me towards a trip to London which will cost £10.60 ? Or is it simply that they have all been sold for now? Will I have more luck if I hang on the release of the Jan 26th fares?

Thank youuuu!!! :)

Back in the day the Super Off-Peak Return was only £9.90!

Have you tried to go "via Northampton"?

just about every train after 10am on 5th / 12th Jan seems to have a £5.30 ticket.

Of course, now I'm using the other booking engine, I see you are quite correct, but its a shame because you don't arrive until nearly 13:00!!! I'll hang around and see if there is anything going for the next two weeks: 26th of Jan and 2nd of Feb at £5.30 any earlier, but the return is there for that price :) Do they sell £5.30 tickets for journeys before 10:00 if I'm quick enough? Even on Saturday?

The first departure with £8 (£5.30 with Railcard) fares is the 10:02, which arrives in London at 12:49. All prior departures cost a minimum of £12 (£7.90 with Railcard). Considering you can arrive in London as early as 09:37, these are excellent value fares which cannot be beaten.

haha! Look at that! 5p!!!

Anyway, also shows the good value, but lack of ultra-cheap tickets for the out journey :( Looks like only half of the tickets for the 26th are out...
