Anybody identify the working & locos of:-

northbound coal Saturday c.1430 hauled by red DB Sch 60

66-hauled FL coal through Nantwich, heading for Crewe c.1555 Monday

FL coal through Nantwich, heading for Crewe c.1555 Monday - if you mean yesterday, there was 66415 on 4V58, but that passed through Nantwich 1645.... Did you mean approx 1655 rather than 1555?

Edit - the only other thing that was about and running through Nantwich around that time that I cn see was 6M64, which passed through Nantwich 1343, sat in Basford Hall Yard 1350 - 1530 (approx) then set off towards Winsford on the WCML - so it depends where you saw the freight? If that one fits, it was 66518 to Basford Hall, 66506 thereafter.

Many thanks, but neither of the Nantwich suggestions fit! It was definitely after 1500, but before 1615.

Perhaps it was a Ghost Train!

Just checking, you did mean Monday 2nd September?

If so, I'll have a look again - which direction was the freight when you saw it through Nantwich? Was it the usual Freightliner hoppers?

It was indeed Monday 2nd - the train was heading Shrewsbury - Crewe, passing Nantwich c.1555

Sorry - the only thing I can see in TRUST heading that way was 6M64! Everything else that has a path through there is shown as either cancelled or just as no report. Apologies - not going to be of much more help, makes me wonder what it was....!

Thanks Hynod - I was just looked at various different places within TRUST to try and work out if something had been diverted. To be honest though, I'm not sure I'd have got that without the heads-up, cheers!

6M04 on 2nd September was 66519.
