Back in 2019 I cancelled a flight to Canada and got a credit note to use by April 2020. That was extended until the end of December 2020.
The other day I contacted Air Canada to see if it can be extended further as I still can't travel to Canada. I left contacting them for as long as possible, to see what might happen but nothing changed.
Would I have any rights in getting the credit note extended? Hopefully, they will say yes but if not, is it worth fighting? They usually take 10 days to respond I was told.
All tickets from March this year are being extended but this was booked prior to that but ran out during the first lockdown.
