Credit crunch and motorsport

What a shame motorsport is now feeling the effect of the credit crunch. Honda pulling out of F1, Subura from WRC.

Doubt it as General Motors is in pretty bad shape at the moment.

Subaru and Suzuki have dropped out of the WRC, iirc. Both stating the current economical climate as the reason for this.

Interestingly, Honda haven't decided to pull their works team out of the MotoGP. :|

I think Ford have have a decent chance this year if Arena Motorsport can get their act together and if Tom Chilton can get back to winning ways. Although, I think I'll have to side with some members here: The combo and Giovanardi and Vauxhall maybe too strong to beat this season... ;)
