This station which opened over 5 years ago is still not showing on the list of destinations on some ticket machines. Southeastern particularly bad on this, it's not available at Plumstead or Welling. When I emailed them they said there is no station at Cranbrook, the nearest is Staplehurst! Wrong county, oh dear. Kent and Devon aren't even close. Anyone know if this could ever be resolved and how, as it means using Whimple/Feniton/Honiton or Pinhoe as substitute destinations depending on what direction you're coming from (and train calling pattern). For those who ask why a TVM is useful here, when there's engineering work diversions, online planners often don't work on this line saying 'no fares'

They must have found the Cranbrook in Kent (which is the default one Google maps takes you to) rather than the one in Devon.

Send them a picture (the one from Wikipedia is suitably licensed). And a link to the Wikipedia article. Perhaps after telling you it doesn't exist, that would embarrass them into action.

I did that 6 months ago. Still no Cranbrook station on the southeastern ticket machines.

Take it that online ticket sellers can correctly issue tickets to Cranbrook (Devon)?

In some circumstances. Only if trains are running directly between Salisbury and Yeovil Junction via Gillingham. When trains are diverted via Westbury as is happening soon the online systems keep throwing errors
