Cracked Welding / Rail

Spotted this at the end of Reading West platform, hope it gets replaced before the winter starts.

Well its known about obviously due to the G Clamps installed.
There will be a timescale for its removal dependant on possession availability and seriousness of fault.
The stamp marks in the weld, which I assume is the Cess / 6ft side of the rail will indicate to the examiner the Welder and weld number which can then be used to track back weld portion number, date and other related details.
I do not see an X stamp which would indicate that the fault developed after examination.

Form the photo, there appears to be a hole in it (look at the rail crown), so it is possibly; a "wet weld" (full of steam bubbles), an early or late tap (resulting in lumpy bits), an incomplete pour (leaving slag in the weld) or the stressing gear was released early (causing tears)

Ultrasonic test and remove within 7 days is probably right.
