Probably better to have used them on the site than me using my trainers, which incidentally have developed tears in the sides at the toes ends of them.

Twas a pleasure to meet you, I will have to do so again so as to return your magazine if nothing else! I do believe you gave it me for reading and we then returned to work, I had temporarily put it safe in my holdall for the time being I believe.

As for the next work party, I shall be unable to attend, if it is on the 18th and 19th, as I shall be bashing my way up the West Highlands on the 18th, returning home exhausted on the 19th. Already pre-booked, so can't change it anyway.

It was a pleasure to meet you as well, i enjoy people who like their railways as much as i do...as for the magazine, no i have that here, folded in two! Lol...but by all means i'd like to meet you again, and that goes for all those i met on that day, it was good to meet you all. I won't be there on the 18th/19th (Keighley on the 18th, for the Gala, and then i'm off on a 2-week tour of Europe on the 19th, rich man, me!) but i should be at at least one day of the next working party, if it's the 4th/5th...

Oh right, must have put the magazine somewhere else then! A look in my bag tonight (not opened it since just before I got off the bus last week!) confirms I didn't have it.

Enjoy your time on holiday, I'll be busy recovering from the Scotland trip myself as well as looking for a job!
