Countries that still issue Edmondson tickets.

Are there any countries that still issue Edmondson tickets on their railways?

I know many heritage railways still issue them but i am only talking about normal public railways. I am not referring to heritage railways and museums etc.

I believe that, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, all used these but i am not sure if they still do. I think in New Zealand they did as well but i am not sure if they are gone there too. I think there was probably over fifty countries that issued these at one point. Many of the countries across Africa and Asia (especially ones that were part of the British Empire originally) issued them. But i imagine most of these have switched to modern systems now.

So does anyone know if any countries still use these Edmondson tickets these days?

Here in Thailand they also had them till swiped out by modern prints-the last fase only for the local commuter trains without any Reservations etc. But must have been by now at least 10 yrs ago. Also with the half detached for 1/2 child fares etc.
These ´iconic´ Paris metro tickets-and in fact quite a lot of local tickets in FRance, more or less still have the same format, but are not the real Edmonson.
Portugal for quite long had a variation on them-not stiff cardboard, but more flexi and from a roll (more common here formerly as cinema tickets etc.).
In EUR those stuck the longest to the are likely the East_Eur countries taking a long time to modernize-also lacking the money for it, after the walls fell.
From INdia-once been, by now also quite some time ago, as about all longer-dist trains had mandatory REservation, I mainly remember the very cumbersome and often failing computersystems-with prints coming out, to get your 3d tier sleeper/or whatever. No edmonsons!-but perhaps for local trains.
South-Africa-the local trains-have to look in the collection of tix kept what it was, could be/or not.

When I was travelling in Europe in the mid-1980s, they were still in use in Greece and on some of the more remote rural branch lines in Southern Italy and Sicily....but I haven't seen any for nearly 40 years now. I still have a Greek one and a couple of Italian ones in my collection.

No Edmondson tickets on my 'local' Konkan Railway in India, and l haven't seen any for a while when travelling further afield. I was last in Sri Lanka in 2015 and l think l recall Edmonsons issued from Galle station.
