At manchester victoria ive just seen a gentleman being cautioned for what I can gather is a counterfeit ticket as the BTP officer quoted a value and quoted the ticket number. As it was in a wallet I think it shows how serious Northern are now getting.
He's exactly the sort of offender they should be going after and I'm glad to see that sort of tug rather than the easy pickings they've been taking where people trying to buy a ticket at their destination are refused and threatened with magistrates before being offered a fixed penalty.
