Coulsdon South (CDS) to Rochester (RTR) 1 Adult Return

I would appreciate any help for the various route fares on the above journey.

First of all I have:
London Freedom Pass
Disabled Railcard
Off Peak Travel same day

Option 1:
The easiest, cheapest and quickest routing seems to be:
CDS - VIC - RTR and just purchase a Boundary Zone 6 to RTR with DSB at £6.10 Return

However I would be interested in how to cost other routings but am struggling. I appreciate they will be quite a bit more expensive.

Option 2:
CDS-TON-SOO-RTR - Return. There does not seem to be a fare available without having to purchase two tickets - CDS-NUF Return then NUF-SOO-RTR Return. Seems very strange as it is the same train CDS-TON?

Option 3:
CDS-ECR-STP-RTR Return - Can I use my Freedom Pass to Boundary Zone 6 on the South Eastern High Speed part by paying a supplement or do I have to purchase a return fare from STP-RTR?

Option 4:
Outbound via Option 2 above and Back via Option 1 above

Sorry for the long and complex question. Any help appreciated.

I believe that the London Freedom Pass is valid to Swanley, so option 1 can be a return from Swanley to Rochester. The Freedom Pass isn't valid on HS1 at all, the same as any inboundary travelcard. Only outboundary travelcards are valid with a supplement or HS1 routeing.

Can you use the names of the stations rather than codes?

Sorry.

CDS - Coulsdon South
TON - Tonbridge
SOO - Strood
RTR - Rochester

As per my "Option 2" query.

Crazy as it seems, Couldson South to Rochester is not valid via Redhill and Tonbridge.
It isn't within 3 miles of the shortest route length, and it isn't mapped.

Appropriate Routeing Points for Coulsdon South here are Croydon Group and Redhill Group.
Mapped Routes Redhill Group to Chatham Group are:
LONDON LB+FA LB+FC
They all involve travelling northbound initially out of Redhill. (For the NOT VIA LONDON ticket you have to change somewhere like Crystal Palace, Streatham Group or Clapham Junction).

As such, NRE has just chosen an arbitrary split to find some valid tickets. Nutfield is not necessarily the cheapest split. In fact, my suspicion is it will try splits at every station along the route until it gets a valid one. As Nutfield is the first station after Redhill, it is the first one with Tonbridge as a Routeing Point.

Many thanks for the clarification.
