Anybody know what will happen to the 5, 5 coach class 360/2s currently in service with Tfl Rail on the heathrow route?

They are going to be replaced with class 345s and I know the 21, 4 coach class 360/1s are going to EMR to operate the half-hourly "EMR Electrics" service to Corby from London St pancras...

So will the 360/2s go to EMR as well...
Will they lose a middle coach to make them 4 cars and join the EMR units?

Not going to EMR as far as i am aware. The 360's are moving from Greater Anglia.

Aren’t they supposed to be joining their sisters on the Bangkok airport run?

Future is unknown but they definitely aren't needed at EMR, the 21 units is more than enough based on the speculation here.

It's a theory but nothing has been confirmed that I've seen

They're owned by Heathrow so it's not really a big deal (in a taxpayer sense). It's up to Heathrow if they want to make any money off them, or just sell them on. In any case there's plenty of discussion in the Speculative Ideas subforum, for example here.

Quite a nice idea! However they have 4, 4 car units and 5, 3 car units so they might need to take a carriage out of the ex TfL rail units?

Whatever they do (if they do anything) they'd need extensive modification anyway - the air conditioning units on the bangkok units are significantly upgraded over the standard UK ones, and I wouldn't be surprised if they'd need fitting with the relevant Thai safety systems

If they added the complete Heathrow fleet, they could remove a car from the Heathrow sets and add one to each 3-car set. That would give a uniform fleet of 14 4-car sets.
