Could Lumo integrate with the airline booking systems?

if they are going to be airline style, will they integrate with the airline booking systems. Maybe to replace an Edinburgh feeder to a flight from Heathrow or Gatwick
A colleague booked a weekend away from Brussels to Barcelona. When the tickets came the first leg was Thalys to Paris then a flight to Barclelona. So the Thalys system coped with being part of the airline booking system. I think Brussels Midi had a 3 character 'airport' code (Might still have)

It wouldn't really work, because the connections hub is at Heathrow and the train doesn't go anywhere near there. Two changes plus the novelty of the idea would make it a non-starter.

My colleague was booked Brussels Midi - Paris Nord, onward flight was CGD - Barcelona. I think he had to make his own way between the two.

That’s a much easier, one-train transfer on the RER between the two.

Lumo no, but HS2 absolutely should, which can hopefully mean the withdrawal of all Manchester-London flights, those being mostly used for connections.

How about running a train direct from Gatwick to the North through Thameslink? I believe Gatwick is the second hub in London and, if there can be fast trains to the North, it can be very competitive.

Kings Cross to Heathrow is direct on the Piccadilly Line. OK, it's a lot slower than the RER from Gare du Nord to CDG but it's still one train. It's only 2 changes if you go via Paddington on HEX.
