Could HS2 construction help the GCR bridge project?

Hopefully, and just a thought, the building of the embankments may be a benefit of the HS2 works? After all, a lot of earth will need to be shifted and deposited somewhere across the country.

There’s a large quarry operating somewhat closer than any HS2 works. Bearing in mind that a significant part of the cost is material transport, I think that might be a more likely source. Could even bring it in via rail on the mountsorrel branch!
