That, or it's an Ibiza flight and they thought "Aye-aye" when they saw a container full of pills...

I did think that. If taking any form of medication (be that prescription or over the counter) on an international flight or ferry it is really not a great idea to carry it in anything other than the original packaging so it's obvious what it is. If you use a daily pill box (as I do) take it empty and make it up when you get there.

Just been through T3, all the right stuff separated etc, but still got pulled over. They found a tin of Nivea in my case, but when they opened it my tablets were in that I'd decanted into. So really not sure why that was picked up, as there was no liquid or gel in.
They'll do everything to make your experience stressful because they derive pleasure from it, in my experience

How big is the risk?
My inexpert assessment is that the walkie talkie bombs were big enough that there would be a decent chance of detecting them. The pagers‘ charges whilst big enough to cause horrific injuries looked small enough that the item would have to be placed against an external wall/window of the plane and if successfully penetrating would still only make a small hole.
Various events suggest that whilst this would be very scary for the passengers you need a pretty big hole to be likely to bring down a plane.
I suppose you could try to blow the cockpit door lock off…….but then you can’t lock it once you are inside.
