Can anyone help with the following?

For travel London to Worcester on any Saturday in May (Say 7,14 or 21) single.

1.What is the cheapest single ticket price?
2.Is it cheaper to buy split tickets, where to split?

A superoffpeak single is £27. There are no advance fares on this route and splitting doesn't often work (sometimes at Slough does) ##

You may get something cheaper by travelling via Birmingham either splitting there or on advance tickets

##The only split that might work is if you can get an advance ticket to Oxford and an off peak single onwards http://gr8traintickets.co.uk/ is the place to try as well as the normal sites. There are quite a few £3 and the odd £1 fare available on 14 May for example

If you are not concerned about the amount of time the journey takes, you could get the 8.15 from Paddington to Cheltenham which arrives at 10.22 but then you would have to wait until 11.48 for a connection to Worcester arriving in Shrub Hill at 12.15.
The fare from Paddington to Cheltenham is advance £13.50 on the 7th or £9.00 on 14th or 21st and £7.50 Cheltenham to Worcester.

it's probably cheapest to go London Midland via Birmingham, but I doubt you want to do that!

If you split via Birmingham you can find some Virgin Advance Singles from £7.50

E.G London - Birmingham £7.50
Birmingham - Worcester £6.80
