cost of upgrading track to passenger line

The distance from Parson Street(Bristol) to Ashton stadium approx one mile.

In my perfect World, have a "temporay" slope type platorm spilling out onto the grass verge before the Ashton Vale Road level crossing.

I seem to remember a few years ago Over near Gloucester had a temporary
platform,so maybe something similar.

Has the plan for a station at Ashton Gate on a reopened line to Portishead been dropped?

2 intermediate stations are planned, Pill and Ashton Gate Industrial Estate. The projected opening date for the Portishead branch has now slipped back to 'early 2020'.
