Hi mate all you can do is revise your notes from the last few days. It's a lot to take in I know, but, if you've been on track awhile, try and remember times you've been briefed about the worksite etc, routes to and from site, any machine movements. The questions are multiple choice and if you read them all thoroughly you'll see some of them are quite easy. I know this probably is useless advice but its all I got. Good luck!

ive read through all my notes , and rulebooks so i guess im as ready as il ever be . this is the 1st railway related exam ive been nervous about . my 1st pts , track induction , lookout and the pts resit you have to do at the start of the coss course i have managed a perfect 100% in each . i would love to be able to continue that but i very much doubt thats possible . what is the required score to pass the coss initial ?

Its generally around a 100% pass rate whenever i have done my coss or you are allowed maybe one or two wrong but nothing more than that. Most railway competencies are this way.

All the help you can get for COSS is as the other poster said is to revise your notes and are you not allowed some books in with you?

youre allowed to refer to your rulebook on your final assessment after mentoring is complete , but not for the theory test itself .
