Seems like this train has been stuck at Cosham for over five hours now:
www.realtimetrains.co.uk
It looks like it’s causing a few knock-on delays as well.
For example 1T65 (20:09 London Waterloo - Portsmouth Harbour) is running about 150 minutes late:
www.realtimetrains.co.uk
2E61 (19:41 Woolston - Portsmouth & Southsea) is about 240 minutes late:
www.realtimetrains.co.uk
1F31 (1930 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour) is about 120 minutes late: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:L23142/2026-04-11/detailed
Could these passengers get off at the station for these other trains or would the doors be shut after a while?
Would it be possible to couple another train to the broken down train and tow it back to the depot? 5 hours seems pretty long to get it going again - It looks like they’re now reversing it out towards Fareham.
