I think @jonny5532's progress here: https://www.railforums.co.uk/thread...ements-publicly-availible.254181/post-6408599 is as far as people have gotten in the public domain, though it'd be useful to know the offsets at which that sample was extracted from / what processing was done to it.
We have been trying to convert these files for over five years since TFL first released them. As mentioned i think jonny5532 has gotten the closest. He got some very muffled sound out of them. But we have been unable to get any further than that.
If anyone on this forum wants to have a go at converting them this is the link to the .pcc files that TFL released:

.pcc is a graphics file format, not an audio file......

FYI, you're opening the zip in that file viewer rather than the file itself
I recommend HxD which has essentially the same interface as that with some extra features, and is (also) totally free.
Well, .pcc is simply the file extension provided by TfL/KeTech. It has no bearing on the actual file format. .seg files were used in some game, but I don't think KeTech took inspiration from DayZ when creating their CIS with Phil Sayer and Celia Drummond!

I didn't know about the .pcc saga until this evening, so reading the last thread and this one has been an epic narrative! Exciting to see that it has a good ending.
