Just booked a ticket with VWC. Booking confirmation on website (via the Virgin Red app for 20% discount) said any valid debit/credit card could be used for TOD collection, but the email said it has to be the card used for payment. Haven't they accepted any card for some years now?

As far as I'm aware, regular VTWC bookings are set to any-card collection. However, because of the involvement of the Virgin Red app, this may not be the case.

The Virgin Red App just loads the normal booking engine in its own in-App browser.

And indeed at the end of the booking it told me I could use any "valid" card. The email said otherwise - I'm just puzzled that they haven't updated that.

The policy of various online retailers on this issue seems to have oscillated back and forth over the years.
