So today I got a Bakerloo Line for a few stops and the compressor sound was on the entire time. Car number 4352 (I think) ,may have misread it as I looked quickly at it as I was leaving the station, it also had a big blue spot next to the car number unlike other carriages.
The other day on an S8 stock from Baker Street the train had a loud vibrating noise, not compressors, but it seemed quieter or to disappear once the aircon seemed to be fully on or noticeably cooling the train. It was warmer at Baker Street. However I think I've noticed similar vibrating noise on class 730's or london northwestern trains so think it must be the aircon system.
