Can a fellow member shine some light on this scenario. If I was to use contactless payment to make a journey on the Underground, what happens if my journey is cut short due to power failure or some other problem. Usually passengers are de-trained and informed that Underground tickets will be accepted on relevant bus services in order to complete their journeys. Problems of this nature appear to occur on an almost daily basis - even if it is just for an hour or so. I would not be in possession of any ticket, so how would I complete my journey without incurring further payment? This would especially be the case if I had to also re-join the Underground to complete my journey after travelling on the bus.
