I need to get DB to confirm that my EC7 on 11/12/2025 was indeed 99 minutes late on arrival at Basel SBB, so I can make a travel insurance claim (couldn't fly home from Milan as booked due to the delay).

I spoke to their English help line person, who said "send us an email outlining what it you need". I very carefully wrote down their email address, however it has bounced back.

The email I have is:

Fahrtkartenservice@bahn.de

I've tried

fahrkartenservice@bahn.de also with no luck

Can anyone tell me the correct address?

Thanks

@ adresses are case insensitive (some input in some interfaces were uppercase only at the time of implementation, perhaps some still are o_O)

Thanks for advice everyone, I've emailed:

fahrkartenservice@bahn.de

And not had a bounce back so perhaps the email was down for maintenance this morning.

I'll wait to see if/when I receive a response.

Would this info be enough?

That's a great help, I can refer the insurers to that link which proves the tardiness of the train.

So many things went wrong on that journey: diversion between Munster and Dortmund via Hamm (over-running engineering works), reports of a UXB somewhere (never found out where), various permanant way speed restrictions, getting stuck behind a broken down train near Essen, and stuck behind goods trains in the Rhine Valley owing to having lost our path!

Interestingly the station stops seemed excessively long for a train running late but maybe that was awaiting a path?
