Can I ask those in the know about two new features?
To the south west of the station, where the old and very old coaches are stored in the open, a fairly long new shed is being built.
And to the south of the route towards Manchester, opposite the Grand Junction retail park, a pit-like structure has slowly been emerging.
Does anyone know the purposes of these?
It seems strange to have new constructions when the entire site may be redeveloped in the next few years.
