The trouble with all these theories that the (usually U.S.) Government were responsible for everything from JFK via Princess Diana to 9/11 and the Japanese tsumani (really) is that it supposes that governments are, well, rather more efficient than the available evidence would seem to suggest. 9/11 was supposed to be a pretext for Bush to initiate Martial Law and round up the population in concentration camps; then Obama was supposed to be a Communist (or, even worse, a Muslim :o ) in disguise, and then he'd initiate Martial Law and, etc. And all this is supposed to be done in complete 100% secrecy and they're supposed to have been able to keep the truth about it quiet ever since, and not one person has ever come foward to say that they were involved in any of these. Since, on the available evidence, most Governments (at least, "democratic" "Western" governments) wouldn't know how to cross the road without a Secret Service man standing next to them to whisper instructions in their ear, does anyone think it's very likely that they'd have been able to organise all these plots, in complete secrecy, and hush them up ever since? The evidence would seem to make that questionable.
