Why did connex opt for three different coloured seating designs and a green carpet rather than a yellow interior?

I thought their interior was blue seats, yellow handrails, grey carpet, as still found in some of Southeastern's trains?

On older examples I recall orange handrails and a mix of blue and yellow grey and blue and burgundy seats with a green carpet

The 375's originally had a mix of burgundy, grey, and blue seats with a green carpet with orange grab-rails as you described before Southeastern refitted them all.
