Connection times at Munich & Frankfurt

I am planning a journey from Salzberg back to London via Frankfurt & Brussels.
The Bahn.de site is giving a connection time of 22 minutes at Munich & 25 mins at Frankfurt - if I try to specify an earlier train from Salzberg with a longer connection time at Munich it won't give any of the London spezial fares for the though journey.
THe train shown is the 08:56 Railjet from Salzberg ( - about an hour later than the times given on seat61 which I think involved only changing once at Frankfurt) & changing onto the 10:47 ICE at Munich
Are these times sufficient or should I plan a longer connection time?

MIN transfer times at both are 5 mins. 8 mins for MUC if needing to go from the S-bahn tunnel to the far southern tracks (hardly used by any train).
Thus it should be ample enough. Note that both stations are endstops (like most LON stations) and there are tunnels about halfway the platforms for easier connections too-no need to go to main hall and turn back.
Tracks for connections will be called for 5-10 mins before arrival-they are usually also shown on the printed small timetables (Ihr Zugbegleiter) laying aorund on seats. DO recheck at the screens at all strategic points if no last min., changes. If running late, there may be additional announcement about trains being held-but that will generally be only in German. Chances that train 2 are late are also quite high.
Check to see if in stead of the FRA change you can do it at FRA-=AIRPORT=>FLUGHAFEN< as there you will not need to change platforms-maybe only other side.
IF a through ticket is held, you can use any later train, ICE or whatever, under the general rules, if connection is lost.

Puzzling - I get 3 options (assuming this is the one daytime connection and booking as far ahead as possible)

Try unclicking the box "prefer fast connections"

Try "adjust transfer time" at Frankfurt (to get EC390) OR put in a "Via" point such as Koeln to eliminate the trains via Paris.

Thanks for your replies. I have now put in via Brussells suid which now shows up prices for both options.

Which would be the better journey - the 08:00 from Salzberg uses the EC390
with a 49 min change at Frankfurt - this goes via Stuttgart.
the 08:56 from Salzberg changes onto the ICE at Munich which goes via Nuremberg to Frankfurt (change again)

I think the 08:00 is safer with the longer & fewer connections but would the journey be better (scenery/train) etc using the 08:56 RJ ?

Not much to choose, perhaps the Stuttgart route - but the ICE will use the relatively new high speed line Munich-Nuremberg.

EC390 Salzburg-Frankfurt is DB IC stock which is fine, but I'd use an ICE for preference. There seem to be mixed feelings about the RJ, but it's only a couple of hours anyway.

If you are worried about the Frankfurt connection, you can also put in Frankfurt as a Via point and (say) a 1-hour stopover, and see what that gives you. Or "allow extra time for connections" generally.

I'd go for the 08:56 and get the ICE.

A 22 minute change will be fine, the problem starts if your train is late. Even then however, there will still be other trains to Brussels. If you miss the last train back to London then E* will put you up in a hotel and let you travel on the next day. However, I doubt you would be delayed enough to mean you miss the last E*. Also, there is no guarantee the 08:00 wouldn't be delayed and in my view if that was delayed you would have less options back to Brussels.
